I've posted the Agenda for BPC meetings on 8th December and previous meeting Minutes are now on http://www.bleadon.org.uk/parishcouncil.html
Items on Monday's Agenda include:
- Defibrillator - BPC is planning to 'immediately' acquire/purchase a defibrillator for public use in an emergency.
- All have been invited to attend and hear a presentation by private company Clive Setter of AED Locator Ltd. prior to normal PC meeting (http://www.aedlocator.org/how-to-buy.php.
- An alternative approach is to apply for part funding via British Heart Foundation (https://www.bhf.org.uk/heart-health/nation-of-lifesavers/using-defibrillators/applying-for-a-public-access-defibrillator
- This was Churchill's community approach to funding an AED solution http://tinyurl.com/kvetkkx
- Also, see http://www.bleadon.org.uk/media/other/24400/Minutes-Sep14.pdf minute 266.5 for previous proposed action to invite Hutton Parish Council to attend and speak about their defibrillator and to latterly obtain quotes. This meeting has not yet happened nor have any quotes been minuted subsequently.
- New Toilet Cleansing update
- To resolve to appoint a new PC Webmaster & third website - we hope it gets maintained better than the existing despite the training expenses incurred to date.
FYI, BOB has previously offered to continue to post the monthly agenda and minutes and also post other PC policy documents and information at zero cost to PC....So, it would be good to hear the reasons behind spending more?
It's also precept discussion time for next financial year and the clerk has asked councillors for their spending plans (our money of course) for 2015/16....Although, as May 2015 will see an election of the whole council, it will be interesting to see what ongoing financial responsibilities the existing council propose to pass on to the new one!
Also worth a look on BOB are several recent Neighbourhood Watch messages from the Police shown here http://www.bleadon.org.uk/watch.html
and some new items on http://www.bleadon.org.uk/whatsnew.html including Bleadon Belles Choir success.
Kind regards,
BOB
