Clean the Rhyne 10am Sunday 17 June 2018

Bleadon Acting Together (BAT) Group members are inviting other Bleadon residents to come along at 10am this Sunday morning, 17th June 2018, to help remove new growth of Floating Pennywort from the Bridge Road to Bleadon Road Rhyne (start at Bridge Garage). Following some concerned 'conversation' on a BAT facebook post, Phil Brewin from Somerset Drainage Board visited Bleadon on Friday 15th to discuss with some local residents the reasoning, planning and progress of their programme to try and eradicate Floating Pennywort from Bleadon Waterways.
