Bleadon Hill Planning Inquiry
The local action group are looking for your support and attendance at the 6 day Bleadon Hill Public Inquiry regarding the proposed 79 new houses. FYI, approximately 40 people attended the Wentwood Drive Hearing on 8 & 9 Nov with a number of members of the public putting forward residents concerns. Out to Lunch
An opportunity for people in Bleadon and on Bleadon Hill, who live alone or have limited mobility, to have a good but not expensive lunch with other people from Bleadon. Lunch will be served at the Queen’s Arms at 12.30pm, on Tue 6th Dec 2016, and then on further dates in 2017. Single choice main course: £5 To book ring Norma Steel on 01934 813 118 Advanced booking is essential. Some help with lifts to get to the Queen’s and home is available. Please ask Norma. People who give lifts can stay to lunch too. “Out to Lunch” is a joint project run by the Queens Arms at Bleadon and Bleadon Church.
Farewell Penny
Villagers & Friends of the church are holding a party on Sunday 11 December from 6.30 to 8.30 pm in the Coronation Hall to thank Penny Skelley for the many years of dedicated service to Bleadon village. If you require further information please call Liz Scarisbrick 813125.
