Wake Park Deadline Extended

A concerned resident has informed me that the deadline date for the Weston (Bleadon) Wake Park application has been extended again until October 31st and has received correspondence from North Somerset stating:

• "We are waiting for the applicant to make some relatively minor amendments to the scheme and are discussing highways and ecological issues then will aim to approve the application."

So looks like NS may have already decided.......However, local residents are still very concerned about potential noise (as although the application states non-motorised craft the supporting documents suggest otherwise) and the increased likelihood of accidents at an already notorious A370 blackspot, not to mention other environmental issues and the loss of more agricultural land.

So if you have any views you still have time to comment.
