This is a public reassurance message. Members of the public may be aware of a considerable amount of police activity in Weston Super Mare today (Tuesday 12 July). This morning officers undertook a series of raids as part of an on-going investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Somerset.
Police executed warrants at 18 properties and have arrested a total of 24 people.
Officers would encourage members of the public to continue to report suspicious activity by calling the police non-emergency number 101 or tell us online.
