There have been reports of persons in the area calling at properties looking for scrap. They have been using a white transit or a flatbed vehicle.
Police staff would remind you to ensure that items of value such as garden tools, ladders, trailers etc are kept secure.
If you see suspicious persons or vehicles please report them to the police immediately on the 101 number, or if you think offences are being committed then call the 999 number.
