[RINGMASTER COMMUNITY MESSAGING - HEADQUARTERS - Invitation to sign up to new police email alerts]

Hello,

Would you like to be kept up-to-date on all the latest police news and events for your local area?

Following your feedback after the launch of our new website, we've introduced email alerts on our website to help keep you informed.

To sign up for email alerts via our website click on this link - https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/account (or copy the link into your internet browser).

Signing up is easy - just create a new account online and select how often we contact you, and which topics you'd like to be kept informed about.

We'll also ask your permission to contact you occasionally to ask for your views and opinions on policing - your details will always be kept secure and never given to anyone else.

Whilst we'll be telling you what's happening, if you need to contact us there are a number of ways you can get in touch.

Attached is a card with details on how to reach us online, on the phone and via social media. Please feel free to share this with your Neighbourhood Watch groups, family and friends.

Thank you for all your support in helping keep Avon and Somerset safe.

Public Service and Local Policing Team,

Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

Email alerts is a separate service to Ringmaster. The emails you receive from Avon and Somerset Constabulary as part of your membership of a Watch scheme will not change, and you will continue to receive emails from us in this way.

If you have information about any crime, phone the police on 101 or you can call anonymously to the independent charity CRIMESTOPPERS 0800 555 111. For general information about Neighbourhood Watch nationally see the www.ourwatch.org.uk website.
