Crime Report:

There has recently been a rise in vehicle crime in your area. Please can you be aware of the following message.

When your vehicle is unattended at night, please make sure it is securely locked.

Remove all valuables and other attractive items, even an empty box is potentially inviting to thieves.

If possible, leave the glove box and parcel tray open to show they are empty.

Remove sat nav units and their mountings, including the tell-tale mark left on the windscreen.

Remember to replace the cigerette lighter - its removal might suggest the presence of a mobile device.
