A resident in Weston-super-Mare received a call implying they are paying too much council tax as their band is incorrect for their property and that the company will try to recover it for a non-refundable fee of £195.
Residents can approach the council for a Tax band query/check FREE OF CHARGE
Resident received a telephone call from a person stating there is a problem on their computer and they can fix it for a price, which may not be refundable.
If you are approached uninvited for matters or work that you are not expecting, be cautious! If you need work undertaken, seek your own companies, get advice, get recommendations!
