An Evening of Music - 24 March 2018

UPDATE: 1st April 2018 Weston Mercury Report here states: The Bleadon Belles and the Bleadon WI Choir hosted a fundraising concert in aid of Weston General Hospital’s Scanner Appeal. In the past year the WI has raised nearly £8,400 through cream teas, craft events, a concert put on by the WorleWind Band and the Bleadon Ball. In the last big push, the two groups welcomed pianist Richard Lennox, the Brass Quartet, singer Jordan Evans, choirmaster Andy King and many more. The group performed to a sell-out room and collected £1,650, taking the Bleadon WI over its fundraising target of £10,000. June Stephens, chair of the hospital’s League Of Friends, thanked the choir and performers for their effort and the ‘great achievement’.
