Introducing Kate the new Halls Booking Officer

My name is Kate James, I am married to Tony, have 3 children and I have lived in Bleadon for about 15 years, firstly on Shiplate Road and then after about six years we moved to another house closer to the village. 
We love living in this village and I have been involved in organising a few village events such as the Royal Wedding Party and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Party. I was also the first president of Bleadon WI, a post which I held for two years (I am still an active member) and was on the committee for the Youth Club for a while.
Alongside my new role as Bookings Officer I also work part-time at Uphill Primary School where I have been for 15 years.
Jo has done an amazing job over the last 35 years and I hope I can continue to do as good a job as she has.
