Village Picnic - 8 July 2017

Posted on 31st May, 2017

A date for your diary.

The Friends of Bleadon Church are planning a Village Picnic from 7.00pm on Saturday July 8th.

IT WILL OF COURSE be a lovely, warm summer evening and so we will have a decorated  marquee and gazebos in the car park.

Your picnic box food will be available from the Coronation Hall, tea and coffee will be provided and there will be a bar.

While you are enjoying your food there will be a choir to sing you Madrigals and English Folk songs and a group of dancers in full costume will perform C18th country dances for your entertainment. This group hope you will join them for a while in practical participation.

The music will then advance to a more C21st style which will give you a chance to dance in your own style.

Tickets will cost £10 per person £5 for children under 12 and will shortly be available from Mary Hollis on 811165 or Gill Williams on 813255.

Do bring the family, the playground is always open for the children.
