Posted on 25th November, 2012

Remembrance Day Poppy

For the third year in a row Bleadon has raised over £1000 for the Poppy Appeal, £1022.82, to be precise, which is cause for gratitude and congratulations.

Thanks to all those residents who gave generously to house-to-house collectors Caroline Bayntun, I.D.Clarke, Jayne Derrick, John Hastie, Jill Hobbs, Susan Oldfield, Pauline Rider and Sarah Ripley or contributed to the boxes in The Anchor, Catherine's Inn, the Church, Escape, the Post Office and the Queen's Arms.
