Bleadon-Hillside Forum and Rural Line change

Posted on 23rd March, 2017

N082 21032017 Bleadon

This is a message for the information of residents in Bleadon. The PCC, Sue Mountstevens, will be attending the Bleadon Forum on 12 April at the Cricket Club, Devonshire Road, Weston Super Mare. This meeting will start at 7.30pm prompt, door opens at 7pm

Further information supplied by Revd. Patrice Sessions of Bleadon & Hillside Community Association:

The Forum has been called in order that the PCC, Sue Mountstevens,  may speak of her plans and priorities for the next three years and to answer questions on local police and crime issues.

She requested to come to a more suburban area instead of Weston this time around, and we are therefore informing the residents of Bleadon, Uphill and Hutton of the event as well as our own area around the bottom half of the hill and other parts of Uphill Ward.

Date. Wednesday, 12 April from 7.30 - 9pm. Venue. Weston-s-Mare  Cricket Club.  Function room.

Whilst there is scope to ask questions on the evening, a more detailed answer may be forthcoming by  forwarding the question to the undersigned by 3 April. This will enable the PCC and her team to gather the relevant facts for a more complete answer.  Please direct the questions to:

Revd Patrice Sessions,  via Contact BOB

The information text line for the rural community is to continue but with a brand new and long-term number 07492 888109 (if you have previously saved 81819 please now delete and replace with this new number).

Please remember this is NOT a number to use to report crime or to call for police assistance and it will not be monitored 24/7.

The number can be used to report information of people/vehicles seen behaving suspiciously in the rural community, potentially stolen goods etc.

Alternatively you can report a crime online via our website http://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk or if it's a matter which requires immediate police attendance then dial 999.

You can still also pass on information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
